Jan 16, 2019 At this time with the MiniMed 670G, if you would like to interchange between Auto Mode and Manual Mode, you have to pay very careful attention to making sure you adjust the carb ratios and the active insulin time (AIT) under OPTIONSDELIVERY SETTINGSBOLUS ESTIMATE SETUP every time you toggle between the two modes. Suspend on Low takes action against lows when you can’t – by automatically suspending insulin delivery when your glucose levels go low and you don’t respond to alarms. Plus – Predictive alerts let you know up to 30 minutes ahead of time if you’re trending high or low, so you can take action sooner.

So I have had this issue before and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on how to get around it.
I accidentally let my batteries die while sleeping and it was off for longer than 10 minutes, 3 hours ish to be precise. I woke up with high sugar level and placed a new battery then turned it back on.
Now this is the second time i have let this happen, but both times my auto mode cannot be ready due to active insulin updating.
It drives me insane and doesn't get back to auto active sometime in hours to days and i wanted to find a way to reset the active insulin if that's even possible.
